What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at SYRINGA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT?
SYRINGA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to oversee the general maintenance of the apartment community. We are looking for a hands-on person who enjoys helping our amazing residents. The Fruita Mews, is a brand-new community that opened just over a year ago . Adjacent to Monument Ridge Elementary School.
This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician will include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed.
- Ensure resident maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintaining property to always provide clean and acceptable curb appeal
- Oversee and manage the maintenance budget.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems,
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and plumbing
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
- On-call availability to respond to after-hours emergencies
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
