Job Summary
WEEKEND RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT STAFF / DIRECT CARE PROFESSIONAL
Syrenity House Empowered is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Level II Group Home team serving youth with behavioral health and emotional needs.
This position is ideal for individuals who have experience working with youth, mental health, foster care, residential services, group homes, juvenile justice, behavioral health, direct support, or human services.
Available Weekend Shifts:
- Saturday & Sunday Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday Overnight Shift: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Part-Time Weekend Positions Available
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting
- Assist youth with daily living skills and routines
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Transport youth to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed
- Complete required documentation and shift notes
- Assist with meal preparation and household responsibilities
- Utilize de-escalation and behavior management techniques
- Support youth in achieving treatment goals and independence skills
- Communicate effectively with leadership and team members
- Participate in staff trainings and meetings as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Ability to pass a Drug Screening
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth in residential, foster care, mental health, juvenile justice, education, or community settings
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- NCI, CPI, or Crisis Prevention Training
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, or a related field
