Pay Range
$1,783.56 - $1,837.07 per credit

Pay Determination
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months’ salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description
The School of Education seeks Part-Time instructor to teach EDU 220 Field Experience and Seminar I (1 Credits)- Offering 2 sections

Gain hands-on classroom experience while building the knowledge and skills needed to create inclusive, anti-racist, and culturally responsive learning communities. Through direct engagement with students in grade 1–3 classrooms, candidates will analyze student learning and reflect critically on their experiences—developing the foundations of their teacher identity and educational philosophy.
Corequisites: EDU 215, RED 215, and SPE 212

Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience supervising Syracuse University teacher education students.

  • Supervise teacher candidates during a 78-hour field experience in Grades 1–3 classrooms.
  • Support candidates in developing inclusive, culturally responsive teaching practices.
