Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform tasks such as grading, digging, lifting, and material transport
* Manage construction site activities by safely operating front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks as needed
* Assist with concrete mixing operations using concrete mixers and support related tasks on-site
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly
* Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use efficiently across various phases of construction projects
* Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational reports
Experience and Knowledge:
· Proven experience operating a range of heavy machinery on construction sites or similar environments
· Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems for troubleshooting and minor repairs
· Familiarity with construction processes including site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling
· Experience working with construction equipment brands such as Caterpillar or equivalent heavy machinery manufacturers
· Knowledge of safety procedures specific to heavy-equipment operation and construction sites
· Ability to read technical manuals and interpret operational instructions effectively
Qualifications:
* Eligible to work in the U.S.
* Valid driver’s license with experience driving heavy vehicles such as payloaders, forklifts, excavators, etc.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
