What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - School-Based position at Syracuse Area Health?
We are seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist to provide rewarding therapeutic services in a school-based setting for two of our local school districts. This position will also include the opportunity to provide physical therapy services at Syracuse Area Health, in an outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed setting
This is a benefit eligible position with the option of 24 or up to 40 hours per week, with weekend call coverage once every 7 weeks.
Qualifications:- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Nebraska Physical Therapy licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to adjust therapeutic cares in various settings (e.g., school based, outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, etc.)
- Excellent communication, customer services skills, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team orientation and leadership ability in collaborating with others
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Experience in outpatient pediatrics is a plus
