What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hospital-Based Acute/ED position at Syracuse Area Health?
This position provides 24/7 coverage for the hospital-based Provider program. Areas of responsibility include providing patient services in the Emergency Room and Inpatient Hospital Unit. APPs in this program will share a rotation of 24 hour shifts (7pm - 7pm) and will be required to remain at the Facility (sleep room provided) during the 24-hour shift(s).
Qualifications:- Master of Science in Nursing and Board Certification
- APRN licensure in Nebraska required
- Emergency and Critical Care experience preferred
- Demonstrated effective team player with strong clinical, organizational and attention to detail skills
- Exceptional customer services skills
- Effective electronic medical record knowledge and skills
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- ATLS certification or attain within first year of employment
