POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide direct nursing care and patient education to meet the needs of client population; assist other nursing staff members and department providers in the provision of quality care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a State approved school of nursing (LPN) with or permit or license to practice, with 1-3 years of clinical or physician’s office experience. Current BLS certification and Infection Control Certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ambulatory – 95%
Sedentary - 5%
Subject to stress and fatigue. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination when working with patients and equipment. Subject to repeated bending, squatting and stooping. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
