Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to support testing activities for enterprise-level applications within a government environment. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality delivery of financial and tax-related systems by coordinating testing efforts, validating requirements, and maintaining strong communication between business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts and development teams throughout requirements, development, and testing phases
- Develop and execute test scenarios to validate business and system requirements
- Perform functional, integration, and backend testing
- Ensure proper test coverage through detailed test planning and execution
- Create, maintain, and execute structured test scripts and regression test packs
- Track, manage, and retest defects to ensure resolution
- Participate in requirement reviews, test planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Prepare QA reports, documentation, and status updates
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure testing alignment
- Support quality assurance processes to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions
- Manage risks, issues, and testing timelines effectively
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning
- 5 years of experience in QA execution and defect tracking
- 5 years of experience with QA tools such as Rational, HP ALM, or similar
- 5 years of backend functional testing experience
- Strong ability to enhance and adapt test plans for comprehensive test coverage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Financials
- Experience with GenTax
- Experience with Oxygen XML Editor
