Quality Assurance Analyst in Columbia SC Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processes for software applications
• Translate business requirements and policy documentation into test scenarios
• Maintain SDLC traceability from requirements to test cases
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and negative testing
• Execute and support automated and manual testing processes
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support resolution efforts
• Participate in defect triage, retesting, and validation
• Prepare QA documentation, reports, and status updates
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to development teams and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, governance, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of experience translating requirements into test cases and scenarios
• 3 years of experience in healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid)
• 3 years of experience reporting test status, defects, and gaps to stakeholders
• 3 years of hands-on experience with formal test design tools
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large enterprise or e-business systems
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
• Relevant technical or project management certifications
