Job Description 
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst 2 to support the Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR). The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, gather and document requirements, support system enhancements, and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions. This role requires strong analytical, communication, testing, and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer business needs and recommend technology solutions.
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Create business process documentation, specifications, and design documents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and evaluate business information.
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data to validate business requirements.
• Perform and coordinate system testing for new implementations and enhancements.
• Work with vendors and technical teams to ensure system functionality complies with business requirements, regulations, and best practices.
• Support system upgrades, change requests, and implementation activities.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
• Manage priorities, timelines, and multiple assignments effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience analyzing business requirements and supporting system implementations.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Experience coordinating testing and supporting system enhancements.
• Experience working with vendors and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Income Tax and/or Business Tax systems.
• Experience with system change requests and testing.
• Project management or project coordination experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
