Job Description

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for timely and accurate shipping and receiving at the Raleigh location.  Also, responsible for ensuring proper inventory in the SAP system so that it reflects current inventory.  This position is important to the success of the business by assuring that customers receive the parts that have been ordered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue parts from stockroom to assembly or customers; receive and shelve returned/completed parts.

• Load and unload freight; transport materials using forklift or pushcart.

• Receive and inspect incoming parts and materials; verify against purchase orders and return discrepancies.

• Fulfill material requisitions and deliver backordered parts to assembly areas.

• Accurately process, pack, and ship customer orders (domestic and international).

• Perform inventory control: receive goods in system, monitor inventory levels, and conduct regular cycle counts.

• Handle crating duties: order materials, crate, and pack customer orders accurately.

• Operate UPS, FedEx, and other parcel systems.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Adhere to all company safety protocols and participate in daily cycle counts.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma, or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office
• SAP knowledge a plus
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented to assure proper counts and shipping details.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.
• Manual dexterity for use of hand drills, hand tools, hoist and power tools.

The compensation range for this position is $18-$20/hour.  Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary bonus (if applicable) benefits.
