The Head of Service Sales is responsible to develop and execute the sales strategies that drive revenue and maximize growth for Syntegon. This position leads a Sales Team and Modernization Team across the Americas. This position has a key responsibility in managing relationships with our customers as well as the senior leadership team to ensure the Sales and Modernizations Department goals are aligned with Syntegon business objectives.

The anticipated starting salary is between $170,000/year to $200,000/year.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and motivate the sales and modernizations team to meet and exceed company objectives
- Identify and analyze market trends within the packaging industry to remain competitive in the industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
- Collaborate with the team to establish annual performance targets for the department.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with sales efforts.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for adjustment or improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and information to the leadership team.
- Evaluate the team on an on going basis and recommend tools or training that will increase productivity of the team.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or other relevant degree or substitute for equivalent work experience.
- 10 years experience leading a team
- 10 years experience working with capital equipment
- 5 years experience in sales
- Domestic and International Travel required at least 30% of the time
