- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt staff positions across all firm offices, from sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and firm leadership to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and identify top talent.
- Develop compelling job descriptions and targeted recruitment advertisements across LinkedIn, job boards, professional associations, niche industry sites, and internal channels.
- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, industry associations, employee referrals, networking, and other talent pipelines.
- Review resumes and conduct initial phone or virtual interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, competencies, and overall fit.
- Coordinate the interview process in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Assistant, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
- Gather and communicate interview feedback, facilitate next steps, and provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Develop and recommend competitive offer terms, assist with offer negotiations, and support candidates through the offer and acceptance process.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, references, and other onboarding activities.
- Partner with IT, Facilities, and other internal teams to ensure new hires have the appropriate workspace, technology, and resources in place prior to their start date.
- Develop and deliver new hire orientations, providing employees with a welcoming and informative introduction to the firm.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with search firms, staffing agencies, professional organizations, and other external recruiting partners.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the applicant tracking system and monitor recruiting activity, trends, and key performance metrics.
- Provide recruiting and administrative support for attorney recruiting initiatives and other firm-wide talent acquisition projects.
- Coordinate logistics and recruiting activities related to summer associate and internship programs.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve recruiting processes, workflows, and the overall candidate experience.
- Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to hiring managers while promoting a consistent, professional, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Qualified Applicants Will Have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive, full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for multiple departments, functions, or geographic locations.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct competency-based and behavioral interviews and evaluate candidates against established success criteria.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and modern recruiting technologies.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting experience within a professional services, legal, financial services, or corporate environment.
- Experience recruiting legal support professionals, administrative staff, or business professionals.
- Familiarity with employment laws, recruiting compliance, and best practices related to talent acquisition.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders throughout the recruiting process.
- Experience supporting internship, summer associate, or early-career recruiting programs.
