Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in litigation, with expertise in professional liability, securities litigation, labor & employment, or insurance broker liability. The candidate must be admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop and execute case strategies.
Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
Maintain strong client relationships by providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the case lifecycle.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active bar admission in both New York and New Jersey.
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: professional liability, securities litigation, labor & employment, or insurance broker liability.
Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
