The Business Development Coordinator serves as a key administrative and operational resource within the Marketing & Business Development Department, supporting the firm's growth strategies through business development, relationship-building initiatives, marketing support, and event coordination. This position reports directly to the Strategic Marketing Manager. This role is 5 days a week onsite in the Midtown Manhattan office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in building and maintaining external business relationships.
- Assist with prospect and competitive intelligence research.
- Provide administrative support to industry groups and business development initiatives.
- Assist with the firm's Strategic Partner Initiative (SPI) program.
- Coordinate and maintain all SPI-related materials.
- Track and manage pitch and proposal requests and related materials.
- Maintain and update the firm's pitch/proposal library.
- Collaborate on website content updates and social media initiatives.
- Assist with ad hoc business development and marketing projects as needed.
CRM & Database Management
- Update and maintain the firm's CRM database (InterAction).
- Create and manage targeted contact lists as requested.
- Develop email templates and assist with email campaign management.
- Generate CRM and marketing reports as needed.
- Experience with Constant Contact is a plus.
Events & Marketing Support
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of internal firm events.
- Track and manage all internal event activities and logistics.
- Maintain inventory of promotional and marketing materials.
- Coordinate with vendors for promotional items and event-related needs.
- Prepare event materials, including name badges, handouts, and evaluation forms.
- Monitor registrations and generate attendance reports.
- Provide onsite event support, including basic audio/visual assistance.
- Attend assigned local trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator on PowerPoint presentations and other marketing collateral.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required.
- Prior experience using a CRM database required; experience with InterAction strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting marketing, business development, or professional services environments is preferred.
