About the Company
Electrical design engineer with 5-7 years of experience with offhighway vehicle design.
About the Role
Creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on design specifications including 3D models of enclosure assemblies & installations, and harness and cable routes.
Responsibilities
- Translating rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate drawings including flattened production drawings with 2D to 3D association.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
- Working with operations to identify drawing issues and collaborating with design engineers to clarify design intent or resolve design issues.
- Modifying and revising drawings as necessary based on feedback and changes in design requirements.
- Must have knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad electrical tool knowledge.
- Creating bills of materials (BOM) and other documentation required for manufacturing or construction.
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to confirm locations and create models for electrical fitment of brackets, tray, enclosures and other to install electrical systems in appropriate locations on equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records & documentation and organizing drawings in a systematic manner.
- Good in communication.
- Should work in collaboration with offshore team.
Qualifications
Diploma/B.tech/B.E./ Electrical
Required Skills
Must have knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad electrical tool knowledge.
Preferred Skills
Good in communication.
