JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, maintain vacuum and process gas systems, complete maintenance documentation, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, support maintenance scheduling, and contribute to a safe, high-performing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and process gas systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and minimize production downtime.
- Complete preventive maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
- Follow all safety regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, and overtime coordination as needed.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical systems, vacuum systems, or process gas systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with power tools.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to rotating shifts.
