About the Position:
The Sort Specialist separates IT assets based on a predetermined agreement, value, quality, and recycle requirements. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to stand, squat, bend over, stoop, kneel, and lift 20-35 lbs. repeatedly. The Sort Specialist adds and removes assets from the check-in lane and makes timely disposition decisions. Once checked in, assets are palletized, wrapped, and moved to a staging area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Add to and remove check-in lane assets, stack on pallet, wrap, and move to the staging area
- Organize assets by client identifier and asset classification
- Execute assigned tasks to client requirements and industry EH&S standards
- Communicate with department management and team members regarding process flow and staging
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 5-35 lbs. and team lift 35 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, squat, and bend. Package and material handling experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of IT-related assets and basic computer skills or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skill

Environment:
- Our environment is a fast-paced production setting. Work is performed in a warehouse setting which typically requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb stairs. Previous warehouse work is preferred but not required.
Job Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check and complete a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull 30 pounds

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
