THE ROLE
Synergy3 Home Solutions is a fast-growing residential and commercial home services company and a top-performing partner in the PSEG utility programs network across HVAC, plumbing, air sealing, and insulation. We are hiring an Energy Efficiency Specialist – Data Entry to be the bridge between our field energy audits and our production and billing systems. You are the person who takes what the auditor found in the home, models it correctly, turns it into a buildable work order, and gets the job invoiced — accurately and on time.
This is a detail-driven office role for someone who knows the whole-house approach cold and lives inside Snugg Pro. If you understand why an air sealing number matters to a load calculation, and you can also reconcile a sales order line-by-line without being told to, this role is built for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
▪ Evaluate orders. Review incoming work orders and sales orders and confirm scope, pricing, and measures line up before anything moves forward.
▪ Match audit data. Pull the data from each energy efficiency audit and match it against the corresponding work order and sales order — catching gaps, mismatches, and missing measures.
▪ Model in Snugg Pro. Enter and model the home in Snugg Pro — building envelope, insulation levels, air sealing, HVAC systems, and the full whole-house picture so the model reflects the actual scope of work.
▪ Create the work order. Generate the work order out of the modeled job so the field crew has a clean, buildable scope with the right measures and quantities.
▪ Invoice the job. Invoice each completed job through Snugg Pro and reconcile it in our CRM/ERP, NetSuite (Oracle), ensuring the numbers match across both systems.
▪ Own accuracy. Keep files current, flag anything that doesn't reconcile, and make sure no completed job sits unbilled.

Must-Haves
▪ Working knowledge of BPI principles and the whole-house / house-as-a-system approach.
▪ Solid understanding of air sealing, insulation, and HVAC as they relate to home energy performance.
▪ Hands-on proficiency with Snugg Pro — entering audit data, modeling homes, generating work orders, and invoicing. (This is the most important qualification for the role.)
▪ Strong data-entry discipline: accurate, fast, and comfortable reconciling numbers across multiple systems.
▪ Experience working from work orders, sales orders, and audit reports.
Nice-to-Haves
▪ BPI certification (Building Analyst or similar).
▪ Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) or a comparable CRM/ERP for invoicing and order management.
▪ Prior work inside a utility energy efficiency or weatherization program (PSEG or similar).
