Medical Receptionist / Front Desk — caring, organized professional wanted for a family-centered therapy practice in Carbondale.

Synergy Therapeutic Group is a well-established physical and occupational therapy clinic in Carbondale, IL, with 230 five-star reviews and a reputation for treating every patient and family like they matter. We're looking for a warm, dependable medical receptionist / front desk professional to be the first voice our patients hear and the welcoming face they see.

You'd be a great fit if you have:

• Prior front desk, medical office, or customer-service experience
• A warm, clear phone manner and dependable, on-time work habits
• Comfort learning scheduling software and computer systems
• Care, patience, and a genuine desire to help people — including adults in pain and parents of young children

What you'll do day to day:

• Greet and check in patients and families, in person and by phone
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage and policies clearly and kindly
• Collect and record payments accurately
• Keep patient records and communication organized and up to date
• Work closely with our therapy team to keep the day running smoothly
