AI Engineer

Position TitleAI EngineerDescriptionWe're seeking a self-motivated individual to fill their AI Engineer position. We are seeking an experienced engineer with a background in developing enterprise level solutions and utilizing AI tools in an enterprise environment. This individual will be part of and work directly with the Information Technology team to ensure optimal system performance, data integrity, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:AI Development & DeploymentBuild and roll out AI/ML solutions that connect with ERP, MES, SCE, CPQ, and other enterprise systems.Identify inefficiencies and apply AI where it makes the most impact on ROI, whether through automation, optimization, or predictive insights.Develop and maintain in-house AI tools including NLP, forecasting, and analytics models.Recommend solutions to leadership with clear pros and cons.Work independently and deliver from prototype through production.Data and IntegrationOwn the pipelines that prepare data for AI, including ETL, feature engineering, and training workflows.Ensure data quality so models are built and deployed on reliable information.Build and support APIs and integrations that allow models to work directly with enterprise applications.Document datasets, integrations, and model performance in a clear and usable way.Process OptimizationMap out current processes, find bottlenecks, and show where AI can improve outcomes.Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and other teams to translate requirements into real AI solutions.Support business process changes by embedding AI into workflows.Training and DocumentationWrite documentation for models, APIs, and integrations that anyone can follow.Train users on AI tools to help adoption and long-term success.Contribute to standards for AI governance, versioning, and responsible use.Reporting and AnalyticsBuild and automate dashboards and reports that use AI to provide real insights.Support business users with predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and reporting needs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.3 years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.Solid SQL and relational database experience.Knowledge of the full model lifecycle including training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.Background with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, SCE, or CPQ.Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud AI platforms such as Azure or AWS.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver scalable AI solutions.Preferred SkillsExperience with Infor ERP or similar enterprise systems.Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and how to apply them in business.Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.Experience with MLOps including automation and CI/CD for AI models.Personal AttributesLearns quickly and adapts to new AI/ML methods.Explains technical ideas in plain language.Self-motivated and able to deliver from idea through to completion.Strong attention to detail with practical problem-solving ability.Work ConditionsAfter-hours availability dependent on need.Sitting for extended periods of time.Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.Other duties as assigned.

Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
