Associate Project Manager (Design & Technology)

Synergy Fiber is seeking motivated recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a career in project management, technology, construction, and telecommunications.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations Leaders while helping deliver technology infrastructure projects for multifamily, commercial, and hospitality properties.

This is more than an entry-level position. You'll gain hands-on experience with project management, network infrastructure, smart building technology, AI-driven business tools, and customer-facing projects while developing the skills needed for long-term success.

No prior project management experience is required.

What You'll Do

Learn Project Management Through Real Projects

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology infrastructure projects.
• Track schedules, milestones, budgets, and project progress.
• Participate in customer meetings and project reviews.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Gain Hands-On Industry Experience

• Attend site visits, job walks, and construction meetings.
• Work alongside field teams to understand how projects are built and delivered.
• Learn how telecommunications, networking, Wi-Fi, surveillance, and access control systems are deployed.

Develop Technical & Business Skills

• Learn to read construction drawings, floor plans, and network diagrams.
• Support design reviews, estimating, and solution development.
• Gain exposure to networking, telecommunications, and smart building technologies.

Explore AI & Innovation

• Assist with reporting dashboards and workflow automation initiatives.
• Participate in projects involving AI and process improvement.
• Help identify new ways to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.

Grow Through Mentorship

• Learn directly from experienced Project Managers and industry leaders.
• Receive coaching, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Build leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Valid driver's license preferred

Travel & Field Experience

• This is a travel-intensive role requiring frequent travel to customer and project sites throughout the United States.
• Candidates should be excited about working both in the office and in the field.
• Significant travel is a core part of the learning experience and provides hands-on exposure to construction, telecommunications, networking, and smart building technology projects.
