Nuclear Med Tech

Mid Michigan Diagnostics is seeking a quality Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part time, day shift position. You will be performing cardiology imaging procedures and providing quality images to the cardiologist for interpretation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Explaining procedures, addressing patient anxieties, and monitoring the physical well being during testing.
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately
• Ordering, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
• Calculating and mixing precise doses of radioactive tracers for patients
• Operating radiation-detecting cameras, processing digital images and providing data to cardiologists for interpretation
• Strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff and the environment
  
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of one year of Nuclear Medicine Experience
• Nuclear Medicine Credentialed NMTCB or ARRT Boards
• BLS Certified
• Experience with Digirad Cardius 2XPO preferred
