Job Overview
As the Bookkeeper, you will ensure the integrity of the company’s accounting processes across all three entities. You will manage financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll, inventory operations, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong leadership and multitasking skills, ready to contribute to a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain three sets of company books in accordance with GAAP
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Shopify processing systems for invoicing, purchase orders, etc.
- Utilize Paychex for payroll and benefit processing
- Utilize SOS Inventory to process Sales Receipts, Purchase Orders, Inventory Control
- Prepare and summarize financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and monthly transaction summaries, along with other necessary reports in accordance with GAAP
- Record and reconcile all accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements across all entities.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including sales tax.
- Oversee and manage inventory operations and cost tracking.
- Assess business, financial, and compliance risks, and implement corrective measures.
- Support ERP configuration and integration for efficient reporting and data management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security of all financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and coordinate training as needed.
Qualfications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum five years of small business accounting experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple company books or multi-entity accounting structures.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and business registration processes.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite, and eCommerce accounting integrations.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial application security.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
The Location: Synergy MedSales dba MNML Aesthetics has 10,000 square feet of office and showroom space in Richardson, TX.
