EEG Tech (PRN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Technologist performs Setups and Disconnects in the patient's home.
• Operates and manages equipment, takes detailed accurate patient history.
• Shares in the responsibility of fielding questions and troubleshooting problems during studies.
• Uploads studies and paperwork in a timely manner following Disconnects.
• Follows HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Measuring and marking using the 10/20 International System of EEG measurement.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and strong bedside manner.
• RESPONDS TO CHANGE: Accepts change and adapts in a positive & productive manner; handles unexpected situations/changes in direction with confidence. Views new assignments as an opportunity for growth.
• ACCOUNTABILITY: Accepts ownership of job roles and specific assignments/goals; works independently, takes responsibility for own actions; and accepts constructive feedback.
• Must effectively interact with patients, families, physicians and other health team members.
• Maintains physician confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Navigate the Windows environment, proficiency in software applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs)

• Registration not required but is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $47,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
