We are a growing multispecialty medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Our team is expanding, and we’re seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our collaborative group of healthcare professionals.
Position Overview:
As a Wound Care NP, you will independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds in a variety of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have prior wound care experience and be comfortable working autonomously in a fee-for-service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide advanced wound care including debridement, dressing selection, and infection management
- Collaborate with physicians and other providers to ensure coordinated, quality care
- Document all encounters in the EMR accurately and timely
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention strategies
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (State: MD)
- Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
- Minimum of [2 ] years of wound care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable with flexible scheduling
Compensation:
- 1099 contractor role
- Fee-for-service pay structure (competitive rates)
