Position Summary:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in functional or internal medicine and is comfortable with therapies commonly used in functional practice. We welcome candidates who may not have deep experience in every area of functional medicine but who are eager to learn, grow, and collaborate closely with our physician as part of patient care. This role is perfect for someone who values teamwork, patient education, and taking a root-cause approach to health.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide functional medicine services, including IV therapy and other advanced treatments.
- Order, interpret, and apply insights from advanced diagnostic and functional lab testing.
- Support patients with hormone therapy, supplements, weight management, regenerative and longevity-focused care.
- Educate patients on nutrition, lifestyle, and preventative health strategies.
- Accurately document encounters in the EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in TX.
- Board-certified NP (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent) or PA-C.
- Background in internal medicine or functional medicine preferred.
- Experience with IV therapy, hormone therapy, supplements, and regenerative treatments strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to learn — open to ongoing training and working closely with the physician to expand knowledge in functional medicine.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time: 25–30 hours weekly; full-time considered.
