Synergy HomeCare of Northern Indianapolis is seeking a dependable, organized, and technology-comfortable Office Assistant to support daily office operations. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage basic administrative tasks efficiently. This position will start off part-time at 20 hours per week and can grow into 40 hours per week as the company expands.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a computer, managing email and calendars, and assisting with scheduling and office communication.

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills
Use a computer and various software confidently and efficiently.
Ability to access web-based systems and resources.
Manage basic email correspondence, including sending, receiving, organizing, and responding to messages professionally.
Assist with scheduling and maintaining accurate appointments.
Leadership and training for Caregivers and office staff
Manage Google Calendar, including:
*Creating calendar events.
*Updating and rescheduling events.
*Inviting participants.
*Sharing calendar events.
*Checking schedules and avoiding conflicts.
Maintain organized digital files and information.
Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, families, and office staff.
Assist with general administrative and clerical duties.
Follow established office procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrate reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
In-Person Skills Assessment
All candidates must successfully complete an in-person skills checklist during the interview process.
The skills assessment may include practical tasks such as:
Navigating a computer and various software.
Sending and responding to a basic email.
Locating and organizing information.
Creating a calendar event in Google Calendar.
Sharing a calendar event with another person.
Making changes to an existing calendar event.

Office Assistant Requirements:
Experience – Two years supervisory or management experience in home care preferred.
Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Characteristics – This is an autonomous position, so we’re looking for individuals that are self-motivated and willing to learn.
Hours: Monday thru Friday. 4 hours per day. Can be flexible on time as long as in- between 8am and 5pm.
Salary : $18 - $20
