Caregiver - Evening Shift Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Evening Shift Caregiver to join our team at SYNERGY HomeCare of Sioux Falls. As a member of our evening shift team, you will provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with daily living activities

• Assist clients with medication management, nutrition, and hydration

• Encourage and support clients in their daily routines, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)

• Promote independence, dignity, and respect for all clients

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Report any changes or concerns to the nurse or supervisor

• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry, preferably as a caregiver or CNA (n/a)

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
