Location: DeSoto County, MS and nearby communities
Schedule: Flexible part-time shifts (weekday, evening, and weekend availability preferred)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience

We’re currently seeking kind-hearted, dependable caregivers to support children and adults with special needs, especially those on the Autism spectrum. This important role includes respite care—stepping in to provide consistent, high-quality support so families can attend to their own well-being, work, or responsibilities with peace of mind.

What You’ll Do:

• Offer patient, one-on-one care tailored to the individual’s needs and abilities

• Provide respite care, ensuring continuity and safety while family caregivers step away

• Support daily routines such as meals, hygiene, dressing, and mobility

• Use strategies that promote communication, structure, and emotional regulation

• Encourage sensory-friendly and developmentally appropriate activities

• Help ensure safety at home or during outings

• Keep accurate, respectful notes to help the care team stay connected

• Be a calm, trusted presence in a family’s life

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

• At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

• Familiarity with respite care and supporting family caregivers

• High school diploma or GED

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

• Ability to pass background and drug screenings

Preferred:

• Exposure to behavioral support methods like ABA

• CPR/First Aid certification

• Training in special education, communication aids, or sensory techniques
