Director of Business Development – Home Care (Orange County)
SYNERGY HomeCare of Corona | Full-time | Field-based in North Orange County $24–$30/hour start bonus on every new client 1% ongoing residual mileage marketing budget. Guaranteed earnings floor during your first six months while you build the territory.
About Us
SYNERGY HomeCare of Corona is a successful home care agency, established in Corona and Riverside for 15 years, with an experienced team behind us. We need someone to come in and build out our north Orange County territory.
The Opportunity
This is a territory build, not an inherited book. We're opening Brea, Fullerton, Anaheim Hills, Tustin, and the surrounding communities from the ground up, and you'll own that from day one.
You'll be based in the field in north Orange County, developing relationships with hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, home health and hospice partners, elder law attorneys, and fiduciaries. Roughly 70% of your time is Orange County, with the balance supporting Chino/Chino Hills and our established Corona territory. You'll connect with our office team regularly and come into Corona weekly — the rest of your week belongs to your territory.
We're not looking for a professional visitor. Muffin drops and business cards don't build a market. Trusted relationships that generate direct client referrals do, and you know the difference.

Most liaison roles pay a small bonus per start and stop there. Here you earn a generous bonus every time a client you brought in starts care — paid right away, not months later — plus 1% of that client's billed revenue for as long as they remain a client and you're with us.
Simple to track, and it keeps paying. The book you build becomes a growing monthly residual on top of everything new you bring in. While you're getting the territory off the ground, a guaranteed earnings floor means you're not absorbing the ramp risk yourself.
What You'll Do
- Own the Orange County referral strategy — you'll have real input, not a script to follow
- Conduct roughly 30 referral-source visits per week, documented in Zoho CRM
- Convert relationships into direct client referrals, with production goals as the territory matures
- Hand qualified referrals to our intake team — assessments and care plans are handled, so you stay in the field
- Represent SYNERGY at community events, health fairs, and in-services
What You Bring
- 2 years in home care, home health, or hospice business development — this one matters
- Experience opening or turning around a territory; you know what months one through six of a cold market actually look like
- Familiarity with the Orange County senior care referral community
- Comfort with CRM discipline (we run Zoho and AxisCare) and clean record-keeping
- Strong organization and self-management — you'll run your own days
- Based in or near Brea, Fullerton, Anaheim Hills, or Tustin
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance
