At Synergy Builders, we’re looking for a design-minded professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and wants to grow into a future Staff Designer role. This is more than a showroom position—it's your entry point into a structured, professional design-build firm with a clear and supported career path. 

What You’ll Do 

Create Exceptional First Impressions 

• Be the first point of contact for clients visiting our showroom or reaching out 

• Deliver a welcoming, polished, and professional experience 

• Help guide clients through their first interactions with our process 

Support the Design & Sales Process 

• Assist with client selections and material choices (tile, cabinetry, fixtures, etc.) 

• Help prepare for showroom tours and client meetings 

• Maintain accurate client notes and communication 

Own the Showroom Experience 

• Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually inspiring 

• Manage samples, displays, and product materials 

• Stay up to date on design trends and new products 

• Work with vendors to ensure our offerings stay fresh and competitive 

Grow Into a Designer Role 

• Learn directly from experienced designers and project developers 

• Gradually take on more responsibility in client selections 

• Build real-world design knowledge and confidence 

• Follow a clear path toward becoming a Staff Designer 

What We’re Looking For 

• Degree in interior Design  

• Passion for residential remodeling and design-build 

• Strong communication skills and confidence with clients 

• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive 

• Positive, team-first attitude 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

Bonus Points If You Have 

• Experience with Chief Architect software 

• Experience in residential remodeling or design-build environments 

• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar software 

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings 

• Have a passion for marketing

Compensation & Benefits 

• Hourly position (based on experience) 

• Mileage reimbursement 

Full-Time Benefits Include: 

• Medical / Dental / Vision (eligible after 30 days)

Schedule 

• Monday – Friday 9-5 

• Occasional weeknights 

• Occasional Saturdays
