Job description:
Position Summary:
6am-2:15pm Monday - Friday Saturdays may vary. Must have avaliablity to stay longer if needed.
Temp to hire role
Paid Weekly every Thursday
This company works with cabinetry from bath room cabinet to kitchen cabinet etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verifies that product leaving the assembly line (in-process inspection)
- is of the highest quality and meets Quality Standards as spelled out in
- the company’s Work Instructions and Defect Classification documents.
- Familiar with product and quality standards
- Recognizes the product defects & makes judgment calls on quality
- levels.
- Enters inspection data and information into a digital device such as a
- tablet or barcode scanner.
- Responsible for reporting problems with quality, processes,
- equipment, etc.
- Maintains product identification and traceability as required
- Interacts with production floor daily
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Responsible for using basic inspection tools and gages such as a
- caliper, tape measure, square ruler
- Responsible for other tasks such as receiving inspection, assemble
- and inspect first article sample, report and maintain Quality records
- and documents within Quality Control department
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to unload, lift, carry and move up to 55lbs without any tools.
- Will lift up to 80 lbs as a team lift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of inspection or assembly experience
- Woodworking experience preferred
- Excellent vision and color shade comparison
- Ability to use digital device to generate accurate records
- Knowledge of metric system
- Bilingual is required
