Requirements

• Experience installing and servicing DirecTV systems and equipment
• This is a 1099 position.
• Daily use of personal vehicle to haul a 24'-28' ladder, equipment and tools
• Tools & Installation Materials
• Valid / Active Driver's License
• Close a minimum on 30 service calls a week in your market

Responsibilities

• Configure, and troubleshoot satellite communication systems and related network equipment in various field locations
• Conduct cabling, mechanical adjustments, and low voltage wiring for satellite dishes and network infrastructure
• Use hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and verify system integrity
• Provide on-site field service support, including system upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Document all work activities thoroughly, including detailed reports on system status, repairs performed, and parts used

Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, including Ethernet and telephony systems
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle hand tools effectively for cabling and equipment adjustments
• Familiarity with electrical concepts, low voltage wiring, and troubleshooting using electrical testing tools like ohmmeters
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in diverse outdoor settings
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
