We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Consultant Contractor. This role will involve extensive travel to various manufacturing sites to optimize supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency. Job Description: As a Supply Chain Consultant Contractor, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our supply chain operations. You will work closely with our our team and the client to streamline processes, enhance materials handling, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and ensuring our supply chain is robust and responsive to business needs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production lines and materials handling practices. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in supply chain operations. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Facilitate training and workshops for staff on best practices in supply chain management. Travel to various manufacturing sites to assess operations and implement improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Supply Chain Consultant or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, materials handling, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
