Synergetics is a consulting and advisory firm built on relationships - roughly 90% of revenue today is referral- or relationship-driven. In 2026, we are building our first dedicated marketing function to broaden the top of the funnel, equip our Managing Directors with better selling tools, and reintroduce the firm to buyers who matter most. LOCATION: Remote. Bonus points if located near our headquarters in Portsmouth, NH, and would require 2 days in the office. ABOUT THE ROLE The Digital Marketing Manager owns the channels and infrastructure that get Synergetics in front of our target audiences. This is a first-in-kind role for the firm and is a builder’s seat. You’ll stand up our paid digital motion, our marketing automation platform, analytics stack, and lead the refresh of our new website. Reporting to our fractional CMO, expect heavy collaboration with Managing Directors in helping to bring your digital marketing strategy and measurement thereof, to life. Responsibilities

- Digital channel management. LinkedIn-led campaign strategy and execution, paid and organic search.
- SEO and GEO. Traditional SEO plus GEO. Partner with our agency to ensure we’re being found by those who are searching for our services.
- Marketing automation. Stand up marketing automation software. Build email marketing list and engine, create a process for lead capture, nurture workflows, and the MQL-to-SQL handoff. Run email and newsletter operations end-to-end.
- Website operations. Partner with our agency on the 2026 refresh, then own the site post-launch - CMS, hosting, conversion paths, CTAs, performance.
- Attribution, analytics, reporting. Build the dashboards that show leadership what’s working across digital channels.
- Targeting infrastructure. Over time, operationalize our account-based motion using lead enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, Clay, or equivalent) and CRM data. YEAR-ONE SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Marketing automation software live and integrated with the CRM.
- Always-on LinkedIn campaigns running against the named PE firm ICP.
- Website refresh delivered on time and on scope, with measurable lift in branded keywords and organic traffic.
- A reporting template and cadence for leadership. WHO YOU ARE
- 5–8 years in B2B digital marketing, ideally in professional services, consulting, or selling into financial services or private equity.
- Demonstrated AI fluency in your workflow. We will ask you to walk us through real workflows and shipped output. Candidates who treat AI as a productivity multiplier have a clear edge.
- Hands-on with marketing automation, LinkedIn Ads (non-negotiable), and Google Ads.
- Strong analytical instincts. Fluent in GA4, comfortable with attribution modeling, and able to build leadership-ready dashboards without engineering support.
- Comfortable operating without a heavy team underneath you. This is an execution role at a senior level - you enjoy doing the work, not just directing it.
- High partnership orientation. The role only works when you are tight with the Senior Marketing Associate, the fCMO, and the Managing Director bench. NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience marketing to private equity (Operating Partners, Value Creation leads) or to a similar named-account universe.
- Experience scoping and shipping a CMS or website refresh end to end.
