What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Synerfac?

Develop and coach production team

Resolve employee issues and take corrective actions

Assist in improving systems for production control, SOPs, safety, QC and performance management

Manage performance and provide progress reports

Provide leadership, technical guidance and training to employees

Ensure that deadlines are met

Manage raw material, in-process and finished goods inventories

Coordinate inventory requirements with purchasing

Investigate in any accidents

Help troubleshoot equipment issues

Coordinate production schedule and production activities on assigned shift

Ensure efficient resource utilization and initiate corrective action

Evaluate employees and review work performance

Improve working conditions with regard to safety, quality, productivity, and cost

Follow all federal, state, and local rules and regulations

Enforce plant policies and procedures and take action in any disciplinary charges as needed

Help investigate customer complaints and provide suggested corrective actions or process

improvements
