What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Engineer position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
The Program Engineer serves as the technical leader for assigned programs, owning product and process performance from design through production. Responsibilities include:
- Lead all technical aspects of assigned programs, ensuring engineering deliverables meet customer and production requirements.
- Translate program objectives into actionable technical priorities and execute projects on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams?including Production, Quality, and Maintenance?to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks through data-driven analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Drive continuous improvement through LEAN, Six Sigma, and other optimization methods.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review designs, specifications, and BOMs to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry and customer standards.
- Support integration of automation and emerging technologies into manufacturing processes.
- Communicate technical updates, risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership and customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering required
- 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or defense production environments required
- Strong people management skills
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
