Job Title: Onsite Support Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Some evening and weekend work required
Responsibilities
Set up and operate a variety of high-end audio-visual equipment for live, virtual, and hybrid client meetings and events
Ensure equipment is functional, safe, and professionally presented, and that clients are familiar and comfortable with the equipment they are using
Assist in organizing daily floor activities to ensure timely set up, refresh, and removal of equipment
Refresh meeting and training rooms daily, including configuring tables, chairs, and other furniture per event design
Deliver additional meeting equipment such as easels, flip charts, tables, and chairs
Perform daily floor operations, assisting within the workflow of other technicians
Work with the team to establish coordinated communications for the management of events
Meet with guests on site to ensure their needs are met and equipment setup is working properly
Attend venue meetings as needed (e.g., event orders or pre-event planning)
Set up and tear down equipment, with occasional loading and unloading
Maintain proper security, storage, and transportation of equipment
Participate in physical inventory counts as requested
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Advanced problem-solving skills
Ability to use high-end audio-visual equipment via ladders
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
Willingness to work at multiple campus locations as needed
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience
3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience
3-5 years of audio-visual experience
