Work for a growing Connecticut specialty manufacturing company. Molder/Inspector: Position description: Operate various single or multiple cavity molding machines, loading & unloading of a variety of rubber or other bonding of manufactured seals/products. Inspection of molded parts (tear trim & visual inspection), secondary inspection including hand buffing or related. As needed perform light assembly (manual dexterity), sorting/packing. Requirements: Required to read, write, basic math and comply with written instructions and established procedures, production tickets. Continuous mental and visual attention to operate compression or injection molding machines, check and lubricate cavities, inspect parts, requiring constant activity. High attention to detail & accuracy with assembly operations. Ability to work independently. Moderate physical effort handling molds, material and other items, operating equipment. Equivalent to lifting or moving average weight material. Physical: Push/ Pull of molds, extension & overhead arm/shoulder repetitive motion, standing- average 7 hours, manual dexterity. Ability to regularly lift and/or move average weight materials (0-20 pounds). Listed: $17-$18/hr
