Hiring Opportunity: Columbus, OH Our client is looking to hire an Inside Technical Sales Specialist! Our client provides power measurement products, engineering expertise and technically trained sales and customer support staff to its clients in a number of industries. They manufacture more than 13,000 standard products used to measure electrical parameters, The Inside Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for responding to technical inquiries from customers and sales channels, preparing quotes for technical product lines, and supporting sales team and customers by tracking orders and providing answers to technical questions on assigned product lines. Responsibilities: - Advance relationships with all sales channels in a designated territory to grow business through selling of standard, modified standard and engineered products. - Provide price and delivery information through all sales channels to customers. - Issue written quotes as requested by sales and customers and follow up on open quotes at regularly scheduled intervals. - Perform contract review on customer purchase orders prior to order entry. - Update customer database information for each customer contact. - Respond to general customer inquiries such as requests for information pertaining to invoice copies, order acknowledgements, RMA"s, shipping information, etc. using established internal procedures. - Chat with customers via website portal. - Promote through email and/or phone outreach to existing and past customers. - Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for quoting and marketing functions. - Proactively identify potential problems and take corrective actions. - Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Associate"s or Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable technical degree preferred. - Strong understanding of electrical knowledge. - Experience working with watts, voltage, and currents. - 2 years of experience in the sale of power measurement devices preferred. - Highly motivated - Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively - Strong selling skills - Knowledge of industry, products and applications
