Maintenance Manager
A well-established residential property organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a high-quality multifamily community. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance staff, managing work orders, coordinating apartment turns, maintaining community amenities, and ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff while overseeing daily maintenance operations.
* Manage service requests, work orders, and apartment turns to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
* Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry.
* Conduct property inspections, preventative maintenance programs, and curb appeal initiatives across buildings and grounds.
* Coordinate vendors, contractors, inventory, and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
* Previous experience leading or supervising a maintenance team in multifamily, residential property management community
* Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and preventative maintenance practices.
* Experience using property management software such as RealPage, Yardi, OneSite, or similar work order systems.
* Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Preferences
* Experience managing vendors, contractors, and capital improvement projects.
* Experience working in Class A properties
* HVAC certification
