Job Responsibilities

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Site Activation Manager (SAM) within the clinical research industry.
• Experience managing site activation activities in the United States and at least one additional global region.
• Strong Site Start-Up (SSU) experience, including regulatory submissions, ethics/IRB submissions, site activation, and study start-up management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple site activation deliverables and timelines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of GCP, clinical trial regulations, and country-specific start-up requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.

Salary Range:

$79,800.00 - $139,600.00

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site activation activities from study start-up through site activation.
• Oversee regulatory and ethics submissions, including IRB/EC applications and approvals.
• Coordinate with investigative sites, sponsors, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely site activation.
• Track and drive study start-up timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify and proactively mitigate risks that may impact site activation timelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, GCP guidelines, and company SOPs.
• Support site contract and budget processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide status updates and communicate start-up progress to project teams and management.
• Manage site activation activities across multiple studies, countries, and regions simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate study documentation and systems throughout the start-up process.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices within the Site Activation team.
