DescriptionManages the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects.Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending.Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.This position has overall project management responsibility.Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of technical information/project activities.Builds productive internal/external working relationships.Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of relevant factors.Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.Lead and manage projects to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency.Develop project plans, drive execution, and ensure timely delivery.Collaborate cross-functionally, applying lean and continuous improvement principles.Analyze supply chain and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.Manage varying levels of project complexity (Level III handling more complex initiatives).Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Open to an Associate Degree)Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.Developing professional expertise.Applies company policies and procedures to resolve variety of issues.Prior experience in healthcare or the pharma industry is beneficialFamiliarity with Microsoft Project or Excel for project tracking.PMP certification is valuable but not required.Strong project and program management background.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools.Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management is highly preferred.Benefits:Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
