Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process, final, and first-article inspections; document results accurately.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and inspection plans.
- Develop and program CMM inspections; validate inspection data before release.
- Identify nonconformances and support corrective actions.
- Communicate results to manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain organized, 5S-aligned inspection areas.
- Train and standardize inspection processes as needed.
- Associate's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools and CMM operation.
- Strong blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience inspecting precision-machined components and performing FAIs.
- CMM programming and inspection software experience.
- Experience with prototype and new part introduction.
