What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Manager/Inspector position at Synectics Inc?
Candidate will perform dimensional and weld inspections in a large fabrication shop with approximately 30 shop floor employees. The location offers a rural setting with plenty of outdoor activities, while still being close to metropolitan areas.
Qualifications
CWI Level I Certification (minimum) - CWI Level II preferred.
Thorough understanding of AWS D1.1 Welding Specifications.
Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings.
Experience training and mentoring junior-level shop inspectors.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with personnel from diverse backgrounds.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in email, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Work Schedule
Standard 40-hour week: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Extended 48-hour week: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
