Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across CNC, composite, assembly, and finishing departments.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet delivery and quality targets.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Manage materials, inventory, and workflow between departments.
- Track production metrics (throughput, scrap, downtime, etc.) and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Report production performance, challenges, and progress to company leadership.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (machining, composites, or precision manufacturing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CNC processes, production scheduling, and workflow management.
- Proven success leading teams in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience improving processes and efficiency.
- Familiarity with ERP or production management systems (experience with Fishbowl a plus).
- Background in machining, composite, or precision manufacturing.
- Experience with carbon fiber layup or composite fabrication.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred.
