Personal Injury Paralegal / Case Manager - Settlement & Negotiations
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal or Case Manager to join our team and support the resolution of pending Personal Injury cases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Personal Injury claims process, a strong understanding of PI terminology and procedures, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
This individual will work directly under an attorney and will be responsible for communicating with insurance adjusters on a daily basis to help move cases toward settlement.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Personal Injury claims process, a strong understanding of PI terminology and procedures, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
This individual will work directly under an attorney and will be responsible for communicating with insurance adjusters on a daily basis to help move cases toward settlement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with a caseload of Personal Injury matters, with a primary focus on settlement and negotiations.
- Work directly with an attorney to evaluate and resolve pending PI cases.
- Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters, attorneys, medical providers, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Conduct settlement negotiations with insurance carriers and work toward favorable resolutions.
- Prepare and organize demand packages, settlement documentation, medical records, bills, and supporting case materials.
- Review medical records and case information to understand damages and support settlement negotiations.
- Track claims, settlement offers, deadlines, and case status.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Follow up with insurance companies and adjusters to keep negotiations moving forward.
- Apply knowledge of Personal Injury processes, terminology, insurance claims, liability, damages, and settlement procedures.
- Support attorneys with additional case-related tasks as needed.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or similar role.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Personal Injury cases and insurance claims is required.
- Familiarity with the PI claims and settlement process.
- Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters.
- Strong understanding of Personal Injury terminology and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and follow up consistently.
- Confident, professional, and persistent communication style.
- A negotiations-oriented personality with the ability to advocate effectively and build professional relationships.
- The ideal candidate does not need to know everything from day one. We can train the right person on the firm's specific processes and procedures.
- The most important qualifications are:
- Personal Injury experience
- Understanding of the PI process and terminology

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
