Neurologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a growing private practice in New Jersey. This position focuses primarily on outpatient neurology, with the opportunity to participate in inpatient care as needed. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological evaluations, diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders, and collaborate with referring physicians to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, assessments, and physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat a broad range of neurological disorders.

Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management.

Order, perform, and interpret EEG studies.

Evaluate and manage conditions including:

Epilepsy and seizure disorders

Movement disorders (including Parkinson's disease)

Headaches and migraines

Peripheral neuropathies

Other complex neurological conditions

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease management.

Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Participate in practice meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.

Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.

Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

Strong clinical experience in general neurology.

Experience managing epilepsy and seizure disorders.

Expertise in evaluating and treating movement disorders.

Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEG studies.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced private practice while maintaining a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
