Shift: 10-Hour Shifts with Rotating Weeknight & Weekend On-Call

We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for laboratory professionals with strong clinical laboratory experience and phlebotomy skills who are committed to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results.

Schedule

• 13-week travel assignment
• 10-hour shifts
• Rotating weeknight and weekend on-call coverage

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Collect blood specimens and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory safety standards.
• Accurately document test results and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  
  

Qualifications

Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or related field.
• Current ASCP or equivalent CLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent laboratory experience in a similar clinical setting.
  
  

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related science field.
• Current MLT (ASCP) or equivalent CLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent laboratory experience in a similar clinical setting.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Phlebotomy skills are required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Manager interview required prior to offer.
